The worst idea I've heard all day

I just read on the elevator news ticker that public schools across the country are going to be scaling back a bit, shortening the school day and switching to a four day school week instead of five. The reason is, of course, to save money. But, anyone noticed how dumb and irresponsible kids are becoming?? Bigger picture: less school -> less learning and responsibly -> the annihilation of the world we live in!! Okay, so I skipped a few steps in there, but it's bad, bad news. Paren't going to be working less, so kids will just be unsupervised and neglected. And I'm sure teachers will absolutely love it when their salaries are cut.

Second worst idea:

I am participating in another yoga challenge. 30 days, 30 classes. This will be more strict than the 60 day challenge, which was 50 classes in 60 days. This is dumb because the last challenge made me hate yoga, and sometimes made me hate life. I want to cut back on the drinking (drunkenness no more than once a week) and lose a few pounds (goal weight - 120, as of this morning that is 9 pounds) and stay really really busy so as to not have time to lament and complain about how my life s generally disappointing, and this challenge can help in all of those areas.

And speaking of disappointment, my soup and salad are just okay.
